What family's we have helped say about us

Dear Adrian and Sally and Everyone

I would like to thank every one at Crem Direct for their help and care for helping my husband and I through a difficult time.

The funeral was for Douglas M Simpson and you all guided us through each step until in the end it was perfect.

Adrian was a great help in each step and I hope he now likes Chopin.  Sally helped to guide us initially and found the music Mr Simpson would have liked.

The casket was perfect and we felt very comfortable with all of it.  I made a donation to Cancer research instead of flowers so that sits well with us also.

Thank you for the extra support of the bearers which made more of a crowd to attend this funeral.

Regard to you all

Patricia and David Bowling

The shock of a sudden passing is hard enough to cope with, however, an additional shock maybe encountered when one realises that a funeral has to be arranged and paid for. Acting on behalf of my elderly parents, I had to quickly re-arrange my plans after being quoted £3,000 to £3,500 for a simple cremation service. After a quick search on the Internet I soon found the CREMDIRECT Web site, which contained all the relevant information and was very easy to understand. When I phoned CREMDIRECT to book my brother's funeral, I found the staff to be warm and friendly and sympathetic to my needs. The total cost of the funeral vvas £1,870 which included a Humanist Celebrant (Fiona) AND THERE WERE NO HIDDEN EXTRAS. I ordered a simple wreath from the florist recommended on the Web site, which was delivered directly to CREMDIRECT the night before the funeral. The florist 'Tallulah Blooms' offer a wide range of products and the fact they delivered these to CREMDIRECT took all the stress out of the situation (this being one less thing to worry about).
My brother's funeral was held on Friday 22nd March 2013, which of all mornings, just happened to be the morning when the North West of England received a LARGE AMOUNT OF SNOW. I was really worried that the service would be canceled, but received a reasuring phone call to say the Hearse was on its way and everything was going ahead as planned. I am truly grateful for all of the staff who turned out in those dreadful conditions and made the service possible. As for the service - my brother was not religious, therefore the idea of a Humanist Celebrant to conduct the service suited our needs. Fiona did an excellent job of celebrating my brother's life which included some lovely poems some of which appeared to have been written just for him.
The death of any family member is obviously not a pleasant experience, but if you are planning a cremation you can certainly ease the financial side of things by using this funeral director. This is the first time I have ever had to arrange a funeral and in my experience I would certainly recommend CREMDIRECT to anyone.
Mr E.D. Jones / Warrington, Cheshire / March 2013.
